Teaser - Chapter 18

I sat there in the pea green moo moo the hospital dressed me in. Doesn’t get much sexier than that.

“It feels much better when you’re kissing me.”

“Does it?” He smirked devilishly. His dark side peaked through and I welcomed it with open arms.

I nodded as I reached out and grabbed his shirt, pulling him back to me.

His lips moved down the side of my neck, sending goosebumps all over my body. Edwards fingers drifted from my hips down to my inner thighs.

“You burst into a man’s office dressed like this.” He bit down on the delicate skin above my collar bone.

My breath hitched. “Victoria’s Secret is for pussies. Sexy women wear moo moos.”

He pulled away and shook his head. “Not true. Only you can make a moo moo sexy.”

I chuckled. “You little charmer you. Trying to sweet talk me out of my moo moo?”

Edward’s face turned serious. “There’s nothing sweet about me, Bella, especially right now.”

“You can’t scare me away.” I kissed his hardened lips softly.

He bit down on my bottom lip and released it. “You sure about that?”

His hand ran though his hair. “I’m a bit…soggy.” He glanced down at his drenched shirt.

“You needed to cool off.” I smiled.

“Did I?”

I nodded. “Definitely.”

He leaned in close. “What would a toy know about such things?”

“I’m not a toy,” I grumbled as he leaned in closer.

“So you keep saying.” His lips hovered over mine.

“What was your father doing at the charity ball?” I asked just as he was about to kiss me. His mouth turned into a frown.

He let out a deep sigh. “Violating boundaries I set. He will be dealt with. I assure you of that.”

Judging by the lethal look on his face I fully believed him.

OFFICE SPACE

So I took my brilliant beta Happymess' advice and stole my husband's office. Yesterday was my first day on the job. It really helps to create a special place just for writing, no distractions.

I finished the first scene of chapter 17 and started scene two. I REALLY want to get this right. Edroar's been such a good lion.

As part of the Illuvium Show at the Vermillion Gallery, we poured 10 paintings in 3 hours with people from our Seattle neighborhood.

Because people are pouring a liquid, they can feel the energy they are expressing in their individual gestures.

They see what shapes that makes and how it interacts with what the other people are doing.

Looking at these compositions together creates a sense of collaboration and neighborliness, which goes hand-in-hand with democracy and compromise.

Hidey Ho!

HUZZAH!! I finally figured out how to post on this spunktastic blog o' mine. Now there will be no stopping me.

Be very afraid.

I haven't a clue if anyone is actually reading it, but I talk to myself quite frequently so it just feels right.

I promise to post teasers. Bear in mind I'm a MASSIVE tweak freak so it may change before it gets posted.

When I write I use lots of visuals so I'll share them with you on here. Hmm...what other bloggy type stuff could I possibly post?

Edroar tidbits? A peak inside the Lion's head perhaps?

I'm working on a more detailed version of my outline right now so I can get a general idea of how many chapters there will be.

Seriously, I could tell this tale forever...there's just so much to share with you.

I'm not very conducive to structure so whipping this crazy journey into a neat little package is a real challenge for me, but I promise to do my best.
